Bob was the best husband, father, “Blah” – and a wonderful friend to us for many years. We will never forget his kindness to our boys as he played Santa for them, his being a great hunting buddy with Jim, or what a super, caring Caravan guide he was for many years. He always had a smile on his face, a great story to tell, and a helping hand for everyone he met. Above all , he was a Christian gentleman who lived out his faith in word and deed. He will be missed by us and all who knew him. Sending our deepest condolences to Carol and the entire family. You will be in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. Love you!

Robert, our lives have brought us close for a time or two, then apart again, but through it all we have been friends first, and cousins, second. I remember the years when our kids were in Dracut High Band together, and the times we met with our mothers, at your Mom’s house. Through it all I have loved you, and can honestly say you were there for me when my times were tough. We both were fortunate in our choice of spouses, and our faith in God and our Savior, Jesus. May you rest in peace, my friend, and Robert, and know that even though I live far away, you and Carol are in my thoughts and prayers.

So sad to hear of Bob’s passing, though from what I was aware of he did his best but went through difficult times. He was loved by many including Cindy and I. Blessings to you Carol and all your love ones. One day we will meet him in the beautiful place The Lord has for all who love Him. He was a great man of God and full of Love for All.

Bob was a vibrant part of cottage life for all of us at Five House Beach, Nova Scotia, for so many years. It was sheer delight to reunite with him and his family three years ago here in our home in Brookfield, NS, where my husband was pleased to meet these special people, then to picnic together at the memory-filled beach. Carol and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Our hearts and prayers truly are with you at this time.
