Robert E, West, age 75, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, MA passed away on Tuesday August 1, 2023 after a battle with cancer. Born and raised in East Killingly, CT. He was the only son of the late Vernon E. and Dorothy B. West. Robert graduated from Killingly High School and subsequently earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
He spent his 38 year professional career working for Raytheon in Bedford and Andover, MA.
Robert is survived by his loving wife Margaret of 52 years, two daughters, Jessica Bastek and her husband Peter of Bellingham, and Sharon West of N. Chelmsford; one son, Matthew West of N. Chelmsford, and two grandchildren Zachary and Alexander Bastek.
