Roland Robert Ducharme, 80, lifelong resident of Lowell, MA died Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, MA.
He was married to Betty Ann (Surprenant) Ducharme.
Born in Lowell, MA, he was the son of the late Arthur A. Ducharme and Alma (Beaulieu) Ducharme.
Roland was a graduate of Lowell High School and served with the USAF during the Vietnam War.
He retired from Clivus Multrum of Lawrence in 2009 and previously worked at Honeywell Bull of Billerica, MA.
He was a communicant of St. John’s Church, North Chelmsford, MA.
Roland enjoyed playing Bingo and Poker with his friends and attended Sr. Citizen events. He took great pride in always helping family or a friend in need. After the passing of his beloved wife, Roland gained and even greater appreciation of life and found the greatest joy in each moment spent with his sons, grandchildren, and great-children.
He is survived by sons, Joseph and Rene Ducharme, Lowell, MA, Michael Ducharme of Lowell, MA, Peter Ducharme, and David and Melissa Ducharme of Tyngsborough, MA, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Arthur St. Pierre of PLACE (Lutz, FL) who died February 17, 2017.
