Sarah A. (Dixon) Stecchi, 85, of Pelham, NH died with her loving son at her side on Thursday May 3, 2018 at Lowell General Hospital.
She was married to the late James D. Stecchi, who died on October 2, 2007.
Born in Tyngsboro, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Edith Dixon. She graduated from Lowell High School with the class of 1951.
Sarah retired from the IRS in 1993 as a Data Transcriber. She had previously worked for the Lowell Gas Company.
She was a member of the Evangelical Congregational Church in Tyngsboro, a member and former President of the Women’s Club and a member of the choir.
Sarah loved to sing and sang with the Merrimack Valley Chorale Group for three years.
She is survived by her son, Donald Stecchi of Pelham, NH; daughter-in-law, Donna Stecchi of Nashua, NH and sister-in-law, Linda Stecchi of Pelham, NH.
She was the mother of the late James Stecchi of Pelham, NH, who died on March 9, 2014.
Visiting hours Monday 4 to 7 P.M at the funeral home. Funeral Tuesday at 11A.M. at the Evangelical Congregational Church, Tyngsboro. Burial in the Sherbourne Cemetery, Tyngsboro.
