Scott St. Martin passed away peacefully on September 5, 2016, at Athol Memorial Hospital, after a short battle with cancer.He was born in Concord, MA on May 14, 1959, and spent most of his life growing up in Acton, MA. Later in his life, he lived in Chelmsford, MA.
He leaves behind his brother, Gary St. Martin and his wife, Cheryl of Westford, MA; his sisters, Michelle Starr and her husband, David of Tyngsborough, MA, Karen Butler and her husband, David of Northbridge, MA, Betsy Parke and her husband, Bob of Westford, MA; and his sister-in-law, Candice St. Martin of Falmouth, MA.
Scott was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Jeanne St. Martin, and his brother, Mark St. Martin.
Scott also leaves behind 16 nieces and nephews, Aimee, Kim, Erica, Kristin, Jessica, Jennifer, Leah, Ray, Julie, Nathan, Nicholas, Christian, Damon, Ashleigh, Jeremy, and Adam. He is also survived by 30 great nieces and nephews, the love of his life, Jamie Carpenter, her daughter, Kendal; and many friends.
Scott spend much of his life painting houses, doing odd jobs, and lately as an apartment maintenance man in Athol, MA. He was a man of extremely high intelligence, could carry on a conversation and have an opinion on just about any topic. He loved to talk and always engaged anyone he met in a lengthy discussion. Scott made many friends and connections wherever he went. He was loving, compassionate and generous. His nieces and nephews will always remember him carrying in a huge box of presents at Christmas to continue the loving tradition of his deceased mother.
At his request, Private Services were held at the Dolan Funeral Home on Friday Sept. 9, 2016.
