Sharon Mary Musshorn, 72, of Westford, MA died Wednesday, February 17, 2021
at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was married to Michael A. Musshorn with whom she celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary June 14, 2020.
Born in Bristol, CT, she was the daughter of Charles Miller and Isabel (Block) Miller. She graduated from Bristol Eastern High School with the class of 1966, and graduated from Middlesex Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Gerontology.
She retired from Community Family of Lowell in 2008, and formerly worked at the Westford Nursing Home.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Chelmsford, MA. Sharon was a member of the Merrimack Valley Activity Directors. Sharon loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons David Musshorn and Jennifer Nilson of Natick, MA and James Musshorn of Los Angeles, CA, her 3 grandchildren Lauren Musshorn, Nils Musshorn and Erik Musshorn and her brother-in-law Vito Parazzo of Bristol, CT.
She was the sister of the late Sandra Parazzo.
Visiting hours Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 1 to 5 P.M. Funeral Monday, February 22, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD. A private burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery, Plainville, CT. Memorials may be made in her name to the Lupus Foundation of New England, 290 W Boylston St. Suite 60676, Worcester, MA 01606. Dear Mike and Family,
I will always remember Sharon’s Humor, dedication, passion , generosity and energy during my time as Director at the Community Family Alzheimer’s Day Program. She was on the ground floor of the program, establishing best practices for activities going forward. She was a true gem in every way.
