Shaunn S. Lavoie, 32, of Whitinsville, MA died unexpectedly Tuesday Jan. 3, 2017 at his home.
Born in Winchester, MA on August 11, 1984, he was the son of Scot Lavoie of Chelmsford and Linda Gaulin of Mendon. He was raised in Chelmsford and graduated from Chelmsford High School with the Class of 2002.
Shaunn loved working at Dunkin Donuts in Northbridge, MA. He was an avid Patriots Fan. He enjoyed photography, collecting comic books and sports cards, and was a good sketcher. He loved spending time with his family and hiking.
Shaunn was a member of the N. Chelmsford Congregational Church.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers Joshua Lavoie of Chelmsford, MA and Brandon Gaulin of Mendon, MA; two sisters, Aimee Lavoie of Douglas, MA and Brittany Gaulin of Mendon, MA; his step-father, Dwayne Gaulin of Mendon, MA; maternal grandmother, Constance Raitt of Lawrence and paternal grandmother, Ellen Lavoie of Kingston, NH.
Visitation Friday from 1 to 2:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. in the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 Middlesex St. Chelmsford, MA. My nephew Shaunn Lavoie loved to walk, he went everywhere on his feet…one of his favorite places to walk with his dad and brother Josh Lavoie was by his childhood home in Chelmsford Massachusetts. Our family would love to place a plaque in Shaunn’s honor on a bench on this trail. Our family would love everyone who new Shaunn to contribute to this memorial. The energy and love of this gift is much more powerful when it comes from many people. The memorial will be a nice place to sit and visit with Shaunn threw out time. Thank you for all the encouragement, the love, the support and most of all the time you spent with Shaunn.
