Valentine “Sonny” J. Polewarczyk of Westford, MA

Valentine “Sonny” John Polewarczyk, 88, of Westford, MA formerly a longtime resident of Chelmsford died Wednesday evening, April 7, 2021 at Care One, Concord, MA.
He was married to the late Mabel J. Henderson Polewarczyk, who died on August 19, 2000.
Born in Lowell, MA, he was the son of the late Valentine Polewarczyk and Veronica (Kopiz) Polewarczyk.
He attended Chelmsford High School.He proudly served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He owned and operated P & P Plow and previously worked for RJ White Construction and RA Mechanical of Pepperell.
He was a communicant of Chelmsford Catholic Collaborative, St. John the Evangelist and St. Mary’s Church of Chelmsford, MA.He was a member of Mass Labors Union.He enjoyed playing the guitar and playing Bingo, and dog racing.  He was as an avid gardener and fisherman.
He is survived by his daughter, Valerie and Gerald Barclay of Westford, MA and Lisa and Stephen Kouropoulos of New Ipswich, NH; his son, Brian and Linda Polewarczyk  of  Derry, NH; his brother Frank Polewarczyk of Dracut, MA; 6 grandchildren Justin Barclay, Stacy Hudak, Spencer Polewarczyk, Mason Polewarczyk, Matthew Kouropoulos and Andrew Kouropoulos, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
