Charles Anthony “Tony” Boucher, 84, of Westford, MA, passed away peacefully in his home on April 20, 2024, in Westford surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his loving wife Eleanor (Donnellan) Boucher with whom he would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on July 4th.

Born in Lowell, MA he was the son of the late Charles and Katherine (Newhall) Boucher. He was raised in the Pawtucketville section of Lowell.

He graduated from Keith Academy with the Class of 1957. He graduated from Lowell Technological Institute (U Mass Lowell) with degree in Mechanical Engineering and went immediately into sales; a born salesman. He went on to earn a MBA from Northeastern University.

After many years of working in sales and traveling extensively to many places including Japan, Morocco, England, Austria, Germany, France and all over the United States, he ventured into owning and operating his own business, Boucher Associates which later became The Nashoba Group. Upon “retirement” he sold cars (too bored to stay home) and then into his most favorite job ever, as a substitute teacher at Westford Academy for 10 years, until the age of 80.

He was a communicant of St. Catherine of Alexandria Church in the Blessed Trinity Parish in Westford.

Among his interests, he enjoyed playing golf, gardening, lawn care, playing bridge, and also loved helping people purchase cars. Tony also enjoyed vacations with his family. He loved spending time in Aruba, Ogunquit, and Seattle. Tony celebrated over 50 years of sobriety and helped many people along their paths to a better life. He was a very generous and kind person.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his beloved children Anthony Boucher and his wife Renee of Dracut, MA Barbara Boucher of Westford, MA, Michael Boucher and his wife Qing of Belleview, WA, and Jennifer (Boucher) Ross and her husband William Ross of Westford, MA. He was the proud Peperé of Michael Ross and Alex Ross of Westford, MA, Harrison Boucher and Russell Boucher of Dracut, MA, Megan Boucher and Ryan Boucher of Belleview, WA and his brother-in-law William Donnellan of Dracut, MA. Tony will be deeply missed by his family, friends, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister Beverly (Boucher) Wasik and her husband Peter, as well as his brother Richard Boucher, and his nephews Richard Boucher and Russell Garneau.

The family would like to acknowledge the help of Serenity Hospice, especially Tom, Sabrina and Betty and all who helped us, especially Kathleen.

Tony was a great neighbor. I lived on Dana Drive and saw him and his wife at Mass often. He was a quiet man. He was a great family man and a good husband and father.
Rest in peace my friend .
