I loved all of the Sorbello brothers. They were all really nice guys.

Uncle George was one of the best. Mild mannered, easy going and great sense of humor. He was not only a gentlemen, but he was also a gentle man. He is the last of a great group of brothers.

My mother was charged with taking care of him when he was very young and she loved doing it because she loved him so much as her brother.

Your mom was also very special. They made a wonderful couple. And how could one not love her laugh.

One of the many things I have learned through my loss and many readings is that we will all be together on the other side in a beautiful place.

    So sorry for your loss.

    God bless!!

My Uncle George was such a great person with so many outstanding qualities that made him a super family man, husband, dad, grandfather, uncle and more. He is the last of the “Greatest Generation” for the Sorbello Family. He will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved him. He was one of my favorite uncles and always took the time to talk with me about many things. I will cherish the memories of the times we had together. He had, as they say in Mass., a wicked sense of humor, wit and a high intelligence that carried him quite far in his service to his country after serving 51 missions in his B-25 Mitchell bomber in WWII and beyond into civilian service. He was very brave and defended his country with everything he had. We are indebted to him for his outstanding service to our country. Thanks for being a very important part of my life Uncle George. May you rest in peace.

Carol and I are both saddened by Uncles George’s passing. So much has been said about him and we certainly echo those qualities. In my mind, he was a perfect example to follow. He and Aunt Jo were two of our favorite people. Proud to call them uncle and aunt. Patty and Judy you were fortunate to have them as parents. Our condolences to both of you.

George and I are sad to receive the news of Uncle George’s passing and agree with all the sentiments that have already been expressed. My mother often spoke of loving all her brothers and sister but especially as a young girl loved taking care of George and Joe, the two youngest. Uncle George & Aunt Jo called mom every Sunday which was the highlight of her day. What a beautiful couple they were and now are able to be together.

Judy and Patty, my deepest condolences on the passing of Uncle George. It was an honor and privilege to have known him and I always enjoyed visiting him and Aunt Jo over the years. I always enjoyed his stories especially the ones about his travels and experiences while working for the United States Government. Due to this, it gave me the drive and influence to become a civilian employee for the government myself, which I’m apart of today. His intelligence and attention to detail as well as his caring personality will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten. He will be missed deeply, but his memory will live on forever.

    Love,

    Richie
