In 1985, when my Father died, Jim was there to walk me through all the decisions of a funeral as it was my first time dealing with death. Jim was patient, intelligent, caring, and most of all kind.
He will be missed by so many people.
In 2019, my Mother died and Jim, Jr. Was there. I received the same service and was treated with the same kindness by all at Dolan Funeral Home.
My husband and I send our sympathy and prayers to all of the Dolan family during this sad time.

Big Jim will forever live on especially when the kids visit. Favorite joke he kept telling the kids “what did one strawberry say to the other? If you weren’t so fresh you wouldn’t be in this jam!” He was a joy to work with and a wealth of knowledge. I’m honored to have worked with him and pass on many of his helpful tips he taught me. I can hear his voice constructively criticizing every time I work towards his standards. Much love to you my friend!

Jim and the rest of the Dolan family,

I am so sorry for the loss of your father, I wanted to take the time to say thank you all for the service you all have provided to the residents of N. Chelmsford and the surrounding areas. My family has been going to Dolan’s since you first opened showing my family kindness ( The Patenaude family of N. Chelmsford) through the generations, including helping me through the loss of my own mother Alison Jensen Johnston at the age of 56 in 2021 and my great aunt Barbara Keaney in the same year.

Again thank you to the entire Dolan Family for your years of kindness, and support during many of my families most difficult times.

    Alec Johnston.

Jimmy, Kathy, Lisa, John and families, I met your Mom and Dad in 1969 when I started babysitting for you kids. You were my absolute favorite family to babysit for. Your parents were very kind to me. Your Dad always made me laugh when he would pick me up and drop me off. Sometimes he would come across the field and pick me up in the Ski-Doo. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Fondly, Gail
